Kinetics and Energetic Parameters Study of Phenol Removal from Aqueous Solution by Electro-Fenton Advanced Oxidation Using Modified Electrodes with PbO2 and Graphene

The Electro-Fenton oxidation process is one of the essential advanced electrochemical processes used to treat Phenol and its derivatives in wastewater. was carried out at an ambient temperature different current density (2, 4, 6, 8 mA/cm2) for up 6 h. Sodium Sulfate a concentration 0.05M as supporting electrolyte, 0.4 mM Ferrous ion (Fe2+) catalyst. electrolyte cell consists graphite modified by electrodepositing layer PbO2 on surface anode carbon fiber with Graphene cathode. results indicated that decreases increase density, minimum obtained after h electrolysis mA/cm2 equal 7.82 ppm starting from initial about 155 ppm. kinetic study showed reaction followed pseudo first-order kinetics regarding density. Energetic parameters like specific power consumption efficiency were also estimated caused decreased efficiency.
